Our Programs & Initiatives

Impacting the Community Through Service and Partnership

Community Service

The Glendale-Peoria (AZ) Alumni Chapter is deeply committed to uplifting our community through meaningful service projects and initiatives that address critical needs in the West Valley.

Holiday Toy Drive

Annual Holiday Toy Drive

Each December, our chapter collaborates with the Phoenix (AZ) Alumni Chapter on a toy drive to bring joy to deserving children in the community. Through generous donations and hands-on support, we help collect and distribute hundreds of toys during the holiday season.

Voter Registration

Voter Registration and Education

In alignment with Kappa Alpha Psi's commitment to civic engagement, our chapter conducts voter registration drives and educational workshops to increase political awareness and participation in our community. We provide resources on registering to vote, understanding ballot initiatives, and the importance of exercising one's right to vote.

Health and Wellness

Health and Wellness Initiatives

Our chapter organizes and participates in health fairs, screening events, and awareness campaigns addressing health disparities in our community. We focus particularly on issues that disproportionately affect African American men, including prostate cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and mental health.
