Greetings and welcome to the official website of the Glendale-Peoria (AZ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. As inaugural Polemarch of this distinguished chapter, I am both humbled and honored to lead a group of men dedicated to achievement, brotherhood, and service.
Our chapter holds the distinction of being chartered on August 5, 2023, making us the first new chapter in the Western Province in over a decade. In a short time, we have established ourselves as a beacon of brotherhood, leadership, and service in the West Valley of Arizona.

Greetings and welcome to the official website of the Glendale-Peoria (AZ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. As inaugural Polemarch of this distinguished chapter, I am both humbled and honored to lead a group of men dedicated to achievement, brotherhood, and service.
Our chapter holds the distinction of being chartered on August 5, 2023, making us the first new chapter in the Western Province in over a decade. In a short time, we have established ourselves as a beacon of brotherhood, leadership, and service in the West Valley of Arizona.
The Meaning of Teleiosis
On our beloved Kappa crest, just beneath the laurel wreath, is the Greek word "teleiosis" (τελειωσις). This powerful concept means being all that we are created to be. It stems from the Greek word "telos," which means fulfilled or paid in full.
When our Lord and Savior, Jesus, died on the cross, one of the last words he uttered was "telos" as his death meant that the debt of our sins had been paid in full. Our founding fathers wanted the members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. to give back to the community until our debt to society is paid in full. Paying our debt to society is a journey; one that Kappa men everywhere happily undertake each and every day of our lives.
Our Chapter's Mission and Vision
The Brothers of the Glendale-Peoria (AZ) Chapter are committed to the principles of Kappa Alpha Psi - Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor. This drives everything we do, whether through our Guide Right programs, community service initiatives, or fostering meaningful connections among brothers.
As we continue into the second century of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., founded on January 5, 1911, we honor the ten visionary men who paved the way for all of us. We celebrate the first century of Kappa - the experiences shared, the impacts made, and the bonds forged - while looking toward the future with anticipation.
The Journey Continues
Our Glendale-Peoria (AZ) Alumni Chapter motto is, "Legacy In Motion, Never Backing Down."
It is the strength of knowing our past that will help us succeed in the future, both as an organization and as individuals. The collective experiences we share unite us in a bond of fraternity through Phi Nu Pi.
We are eagerly looking forward to continuing the journey of teleiosis as handed down to us by our great founders. Glendale-Peoria (AZ) Alumni Chapter Wins Chapter of the Year and Reclamation Awards at the 79th Western Province Council Meeting
At the 79th Western Province Council Meeting on April 4, 2026, the Glendale-Peoria (AZ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was honored with two of the province's most prestigious recognitions: the James O. Whaley Alumni Chapter of the Year Award and the Edward L. Shelton Jr. Reclamation Award, both in the Medium Chapter category.
What makes this achievement particularly remarkable is the chapter's timeline. Chartered on August 5, 2023, GPAC became the first new chapter in the Western Province in over a decade. In less than three years, the brothers have built a chapter that now stands as a model of achievement, service, and brotherhood across the province.
These awards are a testament to the dedication of every brother who showed up, put in the work, and refused to let this chapter be anything less than exceptional. Congratulations to the brothers of GPAC.
